22 weeks

Yay... I am having a hard time getting pumped up for 22 weeks, mainly because i feel totally crappy today. On a good note I got to hear her heartbeat for a while today, it was a solid 152. From now on, we only get a monthly fruit, and I am confused because some charts say I am entering month 6, others say month 5. Either way, this month Nyla is a fat Papaya.

12 Week Photo Shoot

We went to the Dr. yesterday and got to see baby schmieder again on the ultrasound machine!  It actually looks like a baby now.  We saw the baby swimming, spinning, and waving at us.  The ultrasound tech even laughed at one point when the baby had both hands up like it got caught doing something wrong.  Heartbeat was good- same as before, it was awesome....  not so awesome, we have to wait until our 20 week ultrasound to find out the sex, though Mike swears he saw "junk".  The ultrasound was super clear, the pics, however not so much, but enjoy!

8 weeks!

Yesterday we officially met baby schmieder for the 1st time!  The doctor says everything looks great!  We got to listen the the heartbeat (sounds so fast, Mike said it was like sonar) and we are really excited now!  The fetal heart rate was 160, which the Dr. Said is exactly where we should be.  I can not believe there is a person growing inside of me!!

I just read on a few sites that today Baby Schmieder has a heartbeat... crazy...

As an aside.. I wanted to shorten Baby Schmieder to something shorter and cute, but realized the most obvious choice would be B.S.... that just is not going to work....
